Veiling visprint gedoneerd door Bob Mehsikomer
Dear people,
It has been almost a year ago since my fishing friend and fellow lurebuilder Kjelle Lundberg from Sweden passed away. In an effort to assist his son, I have been given the opportunity to celebrate a great man and aid his son at the same time.
The great muskie guide/author/video maker/lure manufacturer/... Bob Mehsikomer was ever so kind to donate a limited edition print by Rick Kelly, dated 1987. This edition is number 1223 out of only 4000 ever made. This print is not for sale anywhere anymore today.
These are the kind words Bob had to say about the history of this print:
"Hi friends... The print was a result of me commissioning artist Rick Kelley in 1987 to paint an image for promoting muskie fishing. We offered these prints in 1988 and to my knowledge are no longer available anywhere. The hybrid muskie is a cross between a female muskie and a male northern pike. They are among the most beautiful in the esox family. They are also among the most treasured catch and release accomplishments of the muskie species. In North America they are considered a MUSKIE rather than a pike. This print is plain and simple, AWESOME. The lake that is the backdrop is a lake located in Northern Wisconsin called Big McKenzie where the artist Rick Kelley and I shared the boat many times. Rick Kelley is among the best wildlife artist in North America if not the world. I hope this goes well and am happy to support your efforts. – Bob Mehsikomer"
I would really appreciate your generosity in helping me assist Kjelle's son to create a small trust fund for his future life!
The shipping costs are not included in your bid and will be charged at cost, depending on the mode of transportation that you prefer and the ship-to country of the final buyer.
The starting bid will be EUR 85 excluding shipping costs and bids can be made via replying to this post or via email, in which case I will update the post. The last bid at 18/07/2016 at 21:00 GMT will win the auction.
